Filmmakers Ink Summer Film Camp

Here's your chance! Join Filmmakers Ink's team of Award-winning filmmakers and artists and make magic! Filmmakers Ink, under the leadership of award-winning filmmaker, Patrick McCullough (Sundance Film Festival Screenwriting finalist and Cine Golden Eagle winner), has set itself apart from other summer filmmaking camps through the depth of knowledge and achievement in their staff, who’ve produced award-winning independent films, like Beautiful Kid featuring Pulitzer Prize-Winning author, Frank McCourt, which Variety called, a film with "astonishing integrity." Other working filmmakers will be on hand, including Joe Hertz, Animation instructor at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts in CT. Filmmakers Ink provides intensive expert instruction in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We will be building confidence in our young filmmakers by teaching teamwork with daily success, giving each a strong foundation in collaboration, imagination, creativity and storytelling. Whether writing, directing or acting in the role you were born to play, you will never forget this experience.

Location: Farmington Youth Center Annex, Farmington, Connecticut

The students pre-production planning will involve developing scripts, storyboards, location scouting, set design and casting. The students will then work closely with seasoned professionals in specific crew positions, including Director, Cinematographer, Gaffer (Lighting) and Sound.
