INTENSIVE 1

Intensive Filmmaking 1 / Acting    Ages   11 - 15

This Filmmakers Ink program is for those that have a passion for film, and would like to learn how to consistently make good movies.  Professional filmmakers will help you experience the moviemaking process from script writing through pre-production and filming.  Everyone will develop scripts, use professional filmmaking equipment, learn some Acting techniques and work in each of the main crew positions, including Director, 1st AD (Assistant Director), DP (Director of Photography), Gaffer (lighting) and Sound, while making movies together.

SPECIAL FX FILMMAKING (8-10 yr olds)

Special FX                 Ages     8 - 10

Learn filmmaking through Filmmakers Ink “hands-on” instruction. You will collaborate to develop an idea for a film, then, write, produce, shoot, direct and edit a 5-10 minute movie together with an experienced filmmaker using digital video cameras, Special FX and editing equipment.  You will screen your movie for family and friends at your Premiere on the final day of film camp.  Students are encouraged to bring their own video camera (only if they already own one), recording media (tape or drive), and tripod for practice instruction.
