Two Week Intensive Filmmaking CampLet’s make movies! The first week will focus on screenwriting and storyboarding. With guidance from the professional filmmakers that make up the Filmmakers Ink staff, each young filmmaker will develop a film script. Our staff will then guide all of the young filmmakers as they work together as a team to produce films from these scripts with actors from our Acting For Film Program. Make movies, make friends, make an impact! M-F June 7th – June 18th Session A: 8:30am - 12:00pm. Session B: 1:00pm - 4:30pm Ages: 11-15 (Students will be grouped by Age and Experience) *NEW* Location: EcoVersity Session Cost: $495 Tuition includes materials, equipment fee. Two Week Acting for Film Camp During the first week, your young actor will perform professional acting exercises designed to help them learn to live truthfully within their scenes, sharpen their listening skills and work improvisationally. They will learn the concentration necessary for good work in film acting, and how to work as a team with other actors and filmmakers. One Week Screenwriting Program Our young writers will work with a professional screenwriter, learning to develop characters, dialogue and plot to tell visual stories. They will learn solid life-long writing tools for accessing and expressing their best ideas.

One Week Special FX Filmmaking Program for 8-10 yr olds Our youngest filmmakers will develop a story and learn to use Special FX to film it. They’ll learn how to make people walk through walls, appear and disappear and several other in-camera effects as well as computer Visual FX. At the same time they will also learn camera basics and teamwork. These young filmmakers will write, shoot, edit and screen their movie for family and friends at their Premiere on the final day of film camp. Students are encouraged to bring their own video camera, digital tape, and tripod only if they already own them.

Filmmakers Ink offers a University film program experience in a camp setting. The Filmmakers Ink Santa Fe summer film program gives its young filmmakers the opportunity to explore the filmmaking creative process, including script writing, pre-production, acting and producing films, and provides them with the skill and confidence to be a part of the growing community of young filmmakers in New Mexico.
Filmmakers Ink has set itself apart from other film camps with their attention to storytelling through digital media.
Filmmakers Ink programs are designed to give students solid life-long tools with which to access and express their creative ideas.
