 Westport Summer 2010

Two Week Intensive Filmmaking Program

Make a statement this summer by doing something truly exceptional - create movies, from script-to-screen!  Young filmmakers will gain knowledge in every aspect of filmmaking.  The first week will focus on screenwriting.  With guidance from the professional filmmakers that make up the Filmmakers Ink staff, each filmmaker will develop a film script.  Our staff will then guide all of the young filmmakers as they work together as a team to produce films from these scripts with actors from our Acting For Film Program.  From script development to creating lighting design and shot lists, the process of making your film will build confidence, hone your ability to work as a member of a team and leave you with a finished film to add to your portfolio.

"Our son has been interested in making movies since the age of 2, and said it best, "This was better than my wildest dreams!"  Thank you for this opportunity!  He's already got his friends working on a new movie." - Jennifer, parent.
