FILMMAKERS INK
Film
Making, Acting, Editing, SFX… And More!
Want to see your name in lights? Here's
your chance!
Join
Filmmakers Ink's team of Award-Winning
filmmakers and artists and make magic! Filmmakers Ink,
under the leadership of award-winning filmmaker, Patrick McCullough, has
set itself apart from other film programs through the depth of knowledge
and achievement in our staff, who’ve produced Sundance Grand
Jury Prize-Winning films, and smaller award-winning independent
films, like Beautiful Kid featuring Pulitzer
Prize-Winning author, Frank McCourt, which Variety
called, a film with "astonishing integrity."
The staff includes Patrick McCullough, Writer, Director,
Actor and Producer, who just finished shooting his third feature film,
Loop, and also a finalist in the Sundance
Film Festival Screenwriting Program, and Chosei Funahara,
mentored by Akira Kurosawa (the renowned Japanese filmmaker,
director of films such as Ran and The
Seven Samurai). Chosei has made over 60 films. He’s
won an MTV award for Best American Video.
Filmmakers Ink provides intensive creative instruction
in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We will be building confidence in our
young filmmakers by teaching teamwork with daily success, giving each
a strong foundation in collaboration, imagination, creativity and storytelling.
Whether writing, directing or acting in the role you were born to play,
you will never forget this experience.
Two
Week Intensive Filmmaking Program
Our young filmmakers
will gain knowledge in every aspect of filmmaking. The first week will
focus on developing script ideas, then, during the second week, our young
filmmakers will produce films, collaboratively. They will work with Actors
from our Acting for Film Program. Our Award-Winning Filmmaker/Instructors
will teach our students important elements of production. The students
pre-production planning will involve developing scripts, storyboards,
location scouting, set design and casting. The students will then work
closely with seasoned professionals in specific crew positions, including
Director, Cinematographer, Gaffer (Lighting) and Sound.
